Subversive Technologies & Countermeasures

Jump to: navigation, search
This guide is for new writers to get a feel for the rudimentary elements that should be present in an article. If you are unsure that you are doing something correctly, just do it anyways. It is better to do and ask forgiveness then to do nothing and hope someone will provide answers.

  • Title: Choose a title that is concise and best describes the topic of your article.
  • Topic: Articles topics consist of white papers, proof of concept code, scripts, technology guides, interesting behavior papers, security trends, software & hardware operation, and a variety of other security related issues.
  • Category: Be sure to categorize your article by adding it to a category to help others locate it in relation to similar topics.
  • Copyrights: Do not submit copyrighted material that you do not have permission to publish.
  • Bias: Attempt to write an article that covers as many points of view as possible.
  • Headings/Sections: When breaking your article up by headings it automatically creates a table of contents for others to help navigate the sections of your article.
  • Images: A picture is worth a thousand words. If you have diagrams, drawings, or visual aids that can help convey your message by all means include them. You can upload them for local reference but remember copyrights also apply to images.
  • References: It is polite and considered proper etiquette to cite all sources that you used to help write your article.
